The Perfect Shot by Eve Ainsworth

Kicking Off was set in World War One and this continues after that war. Hettie's brother Freddie is back from the war but like so many other he is suffering from post traumatic stress. Crippled by nightmares, Freddie finds comfort in supporting his sister's team Dick Kerr Ladies. The team's first international tour is coming up - so it's a great time to be a fan. New team member Jessie sees that his interest in the team coul lead to new opportunities and new hope - but will Freddie be able see it too?
